Plan the work and work the plan……maybe.

So normally I'm a big advocate of a plan, just ask my husband

I am currently working on a piece of furniture, a cute little cabinet , that definitely is NOT subscribing to this. Someone had modified the cabinet before I found it and inserted a piece of marble into the top

It had split in several spots and was missing a bottom board altogether. BUT the wood work was beautiful and needed saving. Originally I was convinced it could be lighter and whitewashed

After repairing and sanding and whitewashing, I hated it.

Yep, hated it

So, the beauty of wood and paint , I sanded it down all over again

I've made a few more final touches and now she is beautiful IMO

Oh, and apparently she is a she. Who knows why.
